Rachel Bush, the wife of Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer, recently took to X to share her thoughts on the team’s recent loss to the Houston Texans. In a lighthearted post, Bush poked fun at fans who were upset about the game.

“It’s really funny to me that we have all this going on in the world right now, and we’re just like, ‘Dang, our football team lost.’ Lmaoo. I’m right there with you guys, but…,” Bush wrote. Her post was a humorous way of putting things into perspective.
The Dolphins’ loss to the Texans was a tough one, with the team struggling to move the ball against Houston’s tough defense. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a costly mistake that led to a Texans touchdown, and the team was unable to recover.
Despite the loss, Tagovailoa did finish the game with 196 yards, a touchdown, and three interceptions. This was a bit of a mixed bag, as Tagovailoa had gone 184 passes without an interception before the game.
The Dolphins’ playoff hopes took a hit with the loss, and the team now faces an uphill battle to make the postseason. According to advanced simulations from the New York Times, the Dolphins have just a 6% chance of making the playoffs.
With a 6-8 record, the Dolphins are in a precarious position. They will need to win out and get some help from other teams in order to make the playoffs. The team’s final three games are against the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, and New York Jets.
Winning all three of these games is the bare minimum for the Dolphins to keep their playoff hopes alive. However, even if they are able to win out, their fate will still depend on how other teams in the AFC perform.
The Dolphins are vying for a wild card spot, and they will need to hope that some of the other teams in contention for that spot stumble down the stretch. The Colts, Steelers, Browns, and Jets are all standing on slim margins for error, and the Dolphins will need to capitalize on any mistakes they make.
The Dolphins’ playoff window is small, and it will only open if there is a combination of losses by their rivals and some unexpected losses by other teams. The team will need to be perfect down the stretch and get some help from other teams in order to make the playoffs.
