The Miami Dolphins secured a win against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but star receiver Tyreek Hill didn’t have his best game. Despite scoring a touchdown, Hill knew he could have performed better.

Hill’s performance was affected by his limited practice time during the week leading up to the game. He has been dealing with a wrist injury all season, but that’s not the reason for his reduced practice time. Instead, Hill has been getting vet rest days from Coach Mike McDaniel.

Hill isn’t using his injury as an excuse for his subpar performance. Rather, he’s expressing his desire to practice more. With the season entering its final month, many veteran players get rest days, but Hill clearly wants to be on the field more.

It will be interesting to see how Coach McDaniel responds to Hill’s request. The Dolphins have a crucial road game against the Cleveland Browns coming up, and they’ll need all hands on deck. Miami’s playoff chances are still alive, but they depend on various factors, including the performance of other teams.

Tyreek Hill is having his statistically worst season since his rookie year. He’s scored only six touchdowns so far, including one on Sunday. Hill has 834 receiving yards this season, but he may not reach the 1,000-yard mark with only two games left.

On Sunday, Hill was targeted seven times but caught only three passes for 29 yards. He faced a tough Niners defense that was able to blanket him, especially with Jaylen Waddle out of the game with a knee injury. De’Von Achane led the team in receiving with six receptions for 70 yards.

Hill’s reduced practice time may have contributed to his lack of chemistry with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. However, Hill is determined to turn things around in the final two games of the season. Hopefully, his plan to get more practice reps will pay off.

The Dolphins will be watching Hill’s progress closely as they prepare for their next game. With their playoff chances hanging in the balance, every player will need to bring their A-game. Hill’s determination to improve is a positive sign for the team.
