Annie Kilner, Kyle Walker’s wife, is expecting their fourth child.
The 31-year-old mother of three revealed on Wednesday that she was “taking some away from her marriage,” and the England footballer apologised to her online on Friday night. However, in the midst of the news of the estranged couple’s divorce, it was revealed that Annie, the mother of three of Kyle’s four children, is pregnant.
However, a source has subsequently revealed to the Mirror that Annie, who was born in Sheffield, is expecting her fourth child with Kyle. Kyle and Annie, childhood sweethearts, married in December 2021 and have three small sons together, Riaan, Roman, and Reign.
“This is a dream for Annie, she has three boys and would love more,” a source said on Friday, the same day Kyle apologised publicly. “Things haven’t been ideal for Annie and Kyle lately but a baby might just be the thing to put a smile on their face.”
According to the insider, “they are doing their very best to put [on] a united front [through] their break up and what comes next.” They said that the couple’s future is uncertain, but they are “completely committed to their children.” He has now left their home in Prestbury, Cheshire, where Annie and their three children currently reside.
Kyle, 33, referred to his wife Annie as “an amazing woman” on Friday, only two days after the soon-to-be mother-of-four declared that she would be taking “some time away” from their marriage. In an online message uploaded on his Instagram page, the Manchester City footballer also expressed responsibility for “all the upset” he has caused the mother of three of his children.
The WAG announced her divorce from Kyle in an online statement on Wednesday [10 January], telling her Instagram followers, “I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family from the intensity of the media spotlight.”
“Unfortunately, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children, I have decided to take a break from Kyle.” I don’t want to say anything else about the situation. For the time being, I would want to request that the privacy of myself and our three young children be maintained during this difficult time.”
Kyle, who met Annie as a youngster in their hometown of Sheffield, openly responded to her message the following Friday on his own Instagram page. “Annie is an incredible woman, and I can only apologise for the distress I’ve caused her,” the athlete continued.
“She’s been a part of my life for so long, and that will never change for the sake of our children,” he continued. I would want to request privacy for our entire family, especially our small children, while we work through these tough times.” Kyle’s indiscretions have put their relationship under question in recent years, with Kyle most recently supposedly captured on video kissing another lady last year.
The pair has also had to contend with Instagram sensation Lauryn Goodman giving birth to Kyle’s three-year-old son Kairo in April 2020. Annie always seems to forgive Kyle and stick by him through thick and thin, but she seemed to have had enough and told everyone they’re done.
Lauryn became a mother for the second time in August when she gave birth to a baby girl, but she’s kept the identity of the father and the name of her second kid under wraps, only revealing that her baby’s initials are K.W. Annie allegedly had a conversation with Kyle on Boxing Day about speculations that he is the father, which led to their breakup.
Kyle denied splitting from Annie in December, despite allegations that his court struggle with Lauryn, his son’s mother, had put a strain on their marriage. “We haven’t broken up.” “I’m here at my family home, aren’t I?” Kyle responded to The Sun’s questioning regarding allegations that he and Annie had broken their relationship outside his Cheshire estate in December.
