Real Madrid’s teenage sensation Arda Güler is reportedly attracting interest from La Liga rivals Sevilla and Real Betis for a potential loan move in the 2024-25 season, according to Spanish outlet AS.
While Güler reportedly prefers to remain at Real Madrid, the limited playing time he’s received this season due to injuries might force him to consider a loan to accelerate his development. While Sevilla and Betis offer valuable La Liga experience, Güler is said to prioritize Champions League football, making his situation intriguing.
Loan spells are common for young players like Güler, allowing them to gain experience at other clubs. However, Güler’s talent and potential could make him a coveted loan option for several major European clubs seeking a creative attacking midfielder for just one season.
Güler’s debut for Real Madrid was delayed until January due to injuries. With only 98 minutes across seven appearances, a loan seems like the most beneficial option for both Güler and the club.
