Liverpool’s newcomers risk upsetting Mo Salah after making a remark about a Reds player.

One of Liverpool's senior players has been dubbed the "best in the world," but it is not Mohamed Salah.

Conor Bradley, a Liverpool prospect, has said that one of his Anfield teammates is “probably the best player in the world right now.” If club legend Mohamed Salah believes the youngster is referring to him, he will be disappointed.
The Reds advanced to the Carabao Cup final after coming from behind to defeat Marco Silva’s excellent Fulham team 2-1 in the first leg of their semi-final at Anfield on Wednesday evening.

Bradley made his first senior start at Anfield, filling in at right-back for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold. And the 20-year-old returned Jurgen Klopp’s faith in him with a terrific display that grew in effectiveness as the game progressed.

He made the most tackles of any player on the pitch, contested 21 duels, and generated two chances, nearly leading to his first assist for the club.

Bradley, who had a successful loan spell with Bolton Wanderers last season, was given his chance since the Liverpool defence was without several players. Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas, and Alexander-Arnold are all out with injuries, as is centre-back Joel Matip.

Because of the issue, Joe Gomez has been obliged to deputise at left-back, creating a chance for Bradley, which he has seized with both hands.

The Northern Irishman is well aware of the magnitude of the shoes he is attempting to fill at right-back and delivered the ultimate respect to Alexander-Arnold during an interview following the match against Fulham.

“Trent’s obviously the best right-back in the world right now, probably the best player in the world right now with the way he’s playing,” Bradley added. He’s a significant loss, but I just did everything I could to fill in for him, and happily, we won.”
