Jadon Sancho, the outcast of Manchester United, is reportedly close to reuniting with Borussia Dortmund.
After a clash with Erik ten Hag in September, the England international was kicked out of the Old Trafford first team.
The player publicly denied the United manager’s criticism of Sancho’s attitude during training.
Ten Hag also pledged not to choose Sancho again after the 23-year-old failed to apologise.
Dortmund jumped to the front of the queue to sign the attacker, and United has been eager to move him on this month.
Sancho is scheduled to return to the German team this month after his initial stint at Signal Iduna Park proved to be a tremendous success.
Bild claims that an agreement has been reached between the players’ agents and the two teams.
Sancho, who Dortmund sold for £73 million in 2021, will join them on a temporary loan.
The remaining part of the season will be spent in the Bundesliga, where BVB is fighting for a top-four spot, with the former Manchester City starlet.
Dortmund thinks that with the winger healthy and prepared to play, Sancho can boost their offensive production right away.
Since making his final appearance for United in the 3-2 triumph against Nottingham Forest in August, he has been training apart from the other members of the first team.
Sancho, 23, is undoubtedly happy to be back to a team where he thrived during a four-season stint. He has previously been linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League.
As for United, they will now focus on finding a forward to replace the departing player.
