Sad News For Yankees star: Yankees star discovered with Covid19.

Aaron Judge, a New York Yankees outfielder, was dismissed from Saturday’s game against the Detroit Tigers.

Trent Grisham took over center field after Judge was ejected for the first time in 870 career games.

With New York up 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Judge struck out looking on Tyler Holton’s 92-mph fastball on the outside corner.

Judge stepped away from the plate as he spoke to home plate umpire Ryan Blakney. As Judge approached the dugout, he had his back turned, and Blakney swiftly ejected him from the game.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone emerged from the dugout to defend the case, but to no avail. Judge had four at-bats in Saturday’s game, recording two hits, one RBI, and two strikeouts.

Umpire Ryan Blakney was close to calling perfect game behind the plate

“Very surprising, especially late in a 5-3 game,” Judge said to reporters after the game. “Battling a 3-2 count and stepping away, speaking my piece. I’ve said far worse…I normally try not to make a scene in such instances. So I’m a little astonished that walking away happened.”

For the season, the 2022 AL MVP is batting.209 with six home runs and 19 RBIs.

“I got a lot of respect for Ryan and what he does,” Judge remarked after the game. “I know their job is difficult, and I’ve always supported them since things are harsh back there. So, the fact that it happened in that way is what bothers me the most. Especially late in such a close game.”
